CAN YOU REPAIR MY EXISTING STEP?
We do not repair steps. We recommend contacting a mason.
DO YOU REMOVE MY OLD STEP?
We can remove existing PRECAST STEPS ONLY. All other types of steps are the customer’s responsibility to remove.
HOW DO YOU INSTALL THE STEP?
Delivery and standard installation is included with the purchase of one of our steps. The extreme lower Cape may require an additional charge for travel. A crane truck will deliver your step and install it by using angle irons that are installed into your poured concrete foundation. The front portion of the step is centered on free floating patio blocks or bricks. *If your home’s foundation is cinder block, the new step will be installed free standing, as cinder blocks cannot support the angle irons with the weight of the step.
ARE RAILS INCLUDED WITH THE STEP?
No. Rails are purchased separately.
DO YOU NEED A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE STEP?
No. A permit is not required.
DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?
Yes. We offer a 5 year warranty covering defects in quality or workmanship. Use of salt/sodium chloride will void the warranty.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept checks and all major credit cards. We ask for a 50% deposit prior to ordering the step and the balance in full is due upon completion of installation.
DO YOU FILL IN AROUND THE NEW STEP IF THERE ARE GAPS BETWEEN IT AND THE GROUND?
No. This is the customer’s responsibility. We do not provide any landscaping services.
WILL MY LAWN BE RUINED?
We use plywood under the truck tires when driving across a lawn. This is not a guarantee against tire indentations. We do not repair any lawn “damage”.
